Cyanotype - Maple tree leaves
Cyanotype is a technique invented in 1842 which enables to create copies of pictures in Prussian Blue. This due to the chemical reaction that is sensitive to ultraviolet light.
In this series the fascinating shape of closeup pictures of old leaves from maple trees are captured digital, then negatives are printed on film, and then contact copy with paper coated with cyanotype are made.
